Playing Outside

It has been soooo hot here and all poor Liam wants to do is play outside. Yesterday afternoon I caved in and let him go and play for about 15 minutes. Here are some photos of him running around the yard.

Pass the Butter Please

On Saturday, we went to Outback Steakhouse with some friends. While we were there Clay showed me a text, so I looked away for one second. Liam decided that it was the perfect time to eat the butter that came with my potato. We were all laughing. He was covered in it. I'm so glad that I had the camera.

Homemade Sesame Chicken

Clay made dinner tonight. Man was it yummy. I love it when he makes sesame chicken, not the three hour wait or the dishes though. Totally worth it.

I Got It

Liam was chasing a small green ball around his room the other day. It ended up underneath his changing table. He was so proud that he was able to stick his hand under and get it out without Mommy's help.

What a Week

So yesterday, Liam slipped on a Dr. Seuss book and smacked his head on the rocking chair in his room. He got a giant goose egg instantly that had already turned deep purple by the time I picked him up. Then today, I was loading the dishwasher. When I finished I moved Liam and proceeded to close the door. Liam decided to throw a tantrum and fling his chin into the corner of the door cause him to bite a chunk out of his top lip.

Mom is sad.

Very, very sad.

Little Baby Lance

Poor Lance is having a rough tour this year. I've never seen such bad luck. He needs all the support he can get. Here's me and Liam sporting yellow. Maybe one day Liam will have the real yellow jersey.

Daddy's Shirt

Liam took Daddy's shirt off the dining room table and brought it over to me. So of course I put it on him.

Fourth of July

This 4th of July, Clayton had Monday and Tuesday off. Therefore, we decided to drive up to Grandpa and Margaret Ann's new house in Georgia. For the fourth, we took out their neighbors boat onto Lake Hartwell. Liam loved playing in the lake and on their boat. Here he is running around on the dock. And of course it wouldn't be the fourth without some great barbecue and fireworks. We had a great time and can't wait til next year.

Le Tour de France

If you know me at all you know that for the month of July that I'm glued to the tv watching the Tour. My family is crazy obsess. We even do the fantasy cycling challenge on Versus (which I won last year). The tour starts tomorrow and unfortunately I will be in the car for 10hrs and it will be killing me not to know what is going on. At least I know that they air the race three times through out the day(and yes I sometimes watch all three) and I will be able to see it once we get to Gramps house. My team has already been selected and I'll be wearing my Livestrong shirt. Bring on the Tour, and let the best Mc Cormick win!

Coloring

Liam and Penelope were coloring today over at Kayla's house. I think Liam liked the sound of the crinkly paper the best.
