We Love Our Aunt Kelly

My Aunt Kelly's tumor has grown, so she will be undergoing brain surgery in January. To show our love and support, the McCormick men all shaved their heads.

We did shave all of Jimmy's head later, I just don't have a picture of that.

15mth Checkup

Today was Brennan's 15th month appointment, which was weird because today is 12/12/12.  Both boys are a little snotty but it's just a little cold.  Brennan now weigh 22-11oz and is 33.25 inches tall, which are 25% and 99%.  Bren has also past all of his milestones with flying colors which include 5 words, using a fork, and riding on toys.  His ears looked dull but it's probably because he cut two molars yesterday and the other two are starting to today.  If his ears get worse, I just have to give the office a call. And then of course shots.  We also talked about Brennan's nap and she seems to think that I have one boy above the average (Liam who still naps 2.5-3hr) and then one under the average (Brennan who only want one 1.5hr nap).  The problem is though he can't quite make it to bed time.  Hopefully he'll start adjusting soon.  I'm not used to Happy McGiggle Pants well, not being happy.

Family Fun

We took the boys Christmas shopping with us after Thanksgiving. They had a blast checking everything out as well as seeing all the decorations. Liam asked if he could get a picture next to the reindeer.
Here's Brennan trying on hats while Christmas shopping.
The boys helped Daddy with the Christmas lights.
I did not dress him this way. This is how the church sent him home because he played in the sink after washing his hands in the bathroom. He's has about 6in on the other kids, hence pants that are way to short.
This weekend we went to the zoo. Brennan isn't too sure about the giraffe.
We also took them to see the Christmas parade. Liam got sooo excited when he heard the drums.
Hands down the coolest Christmas float ever. A smoke breathing dragon, ridden by a gator santa.

November

So with Christmas coming, I've been horrible with updating the blog. Here are a couple of things I missed.  We took a trip to the zoo with Koen and baby Dylan.

Camping

This year was our 5th year camping at Little Manatee River State Park and as always we had an awesome time.  This was also the first year Liam got to stay over night.  He was so excited about his new sleeping bag that he started to ask if he could go to bed at 3:30.  Above, Brennan is helping set up the tent.

Lion, Tigers, and Bear...and Hot Dogs!

For Mitchell's birthday, Shannon took Mitchell to the Big Cat Rescue in Sarasota.  Me and Liam tagged along and had an awesome time seeing all the big cats and the other miscellaneous animals there on the property.  They even had ligers.  It was a lot of fun feeding all the animals and being so unbelievably close. Can't wait to go back with Daddy.

Here's Liam making the bear work for his hot dog as well as making him dizzy.
