Splash Pad Fun

Today Jordan and I took the boys down to the Splash Pad in Vero. Liam and I have never been before. It was a real cool spot with shade cloth, benches, (bathrooms) and water fountains. The best part is that it's free. We packed the boys lunches and head down early before it started to get crowded. Liam had a blast playing in the water with Jacob. The best part was Liam took an awesome nap afterwards.

32 week checkup

On Tuesday I had my 32 wk checkup. Weight was 184lb and BP was 110/64. It was a little higher than it has been, but with a broken AC and the Buick dieing this week I'm entitled to be a little stress. I also got the results to my glucose test and I passed (yeah no 3hr test). Baby is measuring well. My fluid levels were off, but once I told the Dr. we had no AC for two days he didn't seem concerned and told me to drink more water.

He was concerned with the fact that I was in so much pain earlier last week. Baby Duo decided to pull himself out of my pelvis and stretch out horizontally for a couple of hours, then into a pike position. The next morning, I was so incredibly sore it felt like the baby was back to where he started. Dr. Wolk was concerned that now the baby could be in a breached position. After a lot of pushing and pulling on my belly he determined that Baby Duo did go back where he's supposed to be. I think the baby was trying to figure out what gave him the most space in my belly, but it really didn't work out for him. Next appt is the 10th.

Our Relaxing Weekend

Our goal this weekend was to not have any plans so we could relax. Ha! I don't think the calendar got the memo. On Friday, during Liam's nap, he decided it was a good idea to eat a Nerf ball. He proceeded to puke then move his bed across the room to "cover" it up. I think he was afraid he was going to get in trouble. Basically lots of extra laundry and cleaning for me.

On Saturday, when Liam finally went down for his nap, I had plans to work with a design client for a hour or so. Nope. 6hrs later we had a truck full of furniture that I wasn't allowed to lift. Clay came over and helped us with the install. After the furniture was in the guys hung out downstairs with Liam, while I was upstairs arranging all of our new goodies. Around 10:30 Clay and I headed back home, (the room looks great by the way), to a broken AC unit. Needless to say we didn't sleep much.

On Sunday, Liam and I went to church and Clay started to work on the AC before it got miserable outside. Unfortunately there wasn't any obvious problems so he had to start calling around for a tech to come out. Kayla had called to say that I could lay Liam down at their house so that at least he would get a good nap in (THANK YOU). Liam and I went over around 11:30 while Clay stayed behind waiting on a tech. After Liam went down for his nap, I ran out and got Clay lunch and some much needed Gatorade. Finally at 3:00pm I had Clay put a sign on the door and we went over to Kayla's and Dane's house. We had already made plans with them on Friday to come over, we just ended up there much earlier than we thought. We had lost all hope that the tech was even coming when Clay finally got a call at 7:3o pm. What a long weekend.

Summer Fun

Our high today was 94. UGH! Florida summers. It's safe to say that Liam and Penelope had a lot of fun playing in the sprinkles trying to keep cool. I didn't have Liam's suit so he played in his diaper and a rash guard. When we were done with playing outside we got the kids dried and changed, well Liam decided to poop in his dry diaper. Therefore, I had to borrow a hot pink diaper from Kayla. Liam looked hilarious.

A Little Liam Story

The other day, Clay came to pick Liam up at the doctors office for me so that he wouldn't have to sit there for my 1hr glucose test. As they walked out into the parking lot, Liam was very excited about the water tower and proceeded to tell daddy all about it. After they both got into the car, Liam spotted the church next to the water tower saying "church!, church!". According to Clay, Liam folded his hands, mumbled something, then proclaiming Amen! How cute is that.

7mths.

I had my 7mth check up today (2 weeks late). Clay meet me at the doctors and picked up Liam since today was my 1hr glucose screening test. There is no way he would have been able to sit still for over an hour at the doctors office. My weight was 181lbs, which is higher than I would have liked, but the past month since my last appt was Memorial Day and Fourth of July. Lets face it, I'm a sucker for junk food. However my bp was really good and low again at 102/64. Since my last appt, baby duo has flipped and now is head down. Every thing else looks good with his heart rate and is measuring right on target. At the end of my appt, they drew my blood for the glucose test and for the 2nd round of HIV screening. I also got my packet for the hospitable with my registration form and classes that they offer. Next appt is in two weeks.

Tara's Visit

This weekend my college roommate Tara came for a visit. I was so excited to see her, it has been almost 5 years since the last time I saw her. She is one of those people that even though it had been a couple of years, it felt like last week we got together. We had a blast going out to lunch on Saturday, then shopping all day long. We wore our new outfits that we bought, (got a sitter) went to dinner, then the beach, and out for drinks afterwards. Clay was awesome and watched Liam most of the weekend for us. Here are some of my favorite shoots from the weekend.
Sneaking in a kiss at the beach.
Clay went to take our picture as a wave came rolling in.

Proud future parents.

4th of July

Like last year, we spent the 4th of July in Georgia visiting Gramps and Margaret Ann. We had a great time and were sad to come back home yesterday. Clay got to go to the Terrapin Brewery and we even squeezed in a visit to my Aunt Mary Kay and Uncle Al. Here is Liam playing with his new bat that GiGi and Marny got him.

Our weekend was filled with firsts for Liam. Here he is next to Grandma Marny and Daddy on a boat for the first time. He made sure to point out all the other boats on the water too.
Daddy and Liam catching the sea spray. Liam making his first smoore.

And here he is eating his first smoore. Sticky but fun. More fun filled photos.
