Ireland

Here are a few thing we did while we went to Ireland. Here's Clay and I at the Blarney Castle and yes we kissed the stone.
We took a bus tour around the Ring of Kerry. Us at the Lakes of Killarney.
We took a boat to St. Michael's Skellig, climbed 1000ft up a shear cliff to St. Michael's monastery.

Took a horse drawn carriage around Muckrose Mansion and its 400 acres of gardens and waterfall.

Us at Torc Waterfall. More pics to come.

Just Another Saturday

Yesterday we had a very busy day. We started it off by taking Jager to the vet. He has a double ear infection as well as a double eye infection. The vet seems to think its allergy related, since the pollen has been really bad here lately. Plus last year at this time he also had similar issues. After the vet, I was starving so I mentioned that breakfast sound good to Clay and off to Cracker Barrel we went. Liam loves going and playing with the peg game, having a pancake and some juice. It's the one restaurant that we don't have to worry about him throwing a fit.

After Liam nap, we had a birthday party for Ben to go to. He had a bounce house, snow cone machine, and a petting zoo. Let's just say, Liam was in heaven. Between the cake, cookies, juice, and snow cones, he was in over drive. His favorite part was by far the pony he got to ride twice since the other kids were afraid. Oh! PS, the other half of the closet shelving came crashing down today. This time on top of me and Liam.

Really?!?

So today while I was talking to my sister I heard this crashing sound. The whole house shook and everything. I first it sounded like a really loud thunder clap, but there isn't a cloud in the sky. Then I quickly realized I couldn't see Liam. My mind started to race. I thought that maybe he knocked over the entertainment center. Nope wasn't that either. Apparently the previous owners of our house mounted the shelves in our master closet only into the drywall not the studs. The books, tax papers, shoes, bags, clothes, ect., came crashing down. Two of the three shelves are now on the floor. Like I didn't already have enough to do before our trip. Really! Really?

4mth Checkup

I had my 4mth checkup today since next week we'll be in Ireland. I'll be 16 weeks this Thursday. I got to the appt early because I had received a bill in the mail that I needed to talk to the office about. My coverage is 100% and the bill was for $115. Turns out the office just hadn't received the insurance money at the time I received the bill in the mail and I didn't owe them anything today.

For my appt, I decided not to bring in the stroller since Liam gets very upset if its not moving. Instead I brought a blanket he could sit on. He did amazing. He just sat there on the blanket with his crayons and coloring book. He only got upset for a little bit when the dr. went to listen to the baby's heartbeat.

Today I weight 153lbs and my bp was 114/72. Baby Duo's heart rate was at 146bpm (in case you were wondering Liam's was 145bpm). My lab work came back and showed that I had severe dehydration, but due to the fact I've started to gain some weight and haven't thrown up since St. Paddy's Day, Dr Zylman decided that I don't have to got to the hospital for a couple of days. She also copied my medical file so I can take it with me to Ireland just in case I need to see a doctor while we are over there. My next appt is May 4th where I'll have an ultrasound and a checkup appt afterwards.

Poor Dog

Jager manage to cut his ear while he was scratching them the other day. As the scab started to form he scratched his ear again. This time taking the scab and a patch of skin with it. Now he has a large open sore in his ear. We were afraid that it would get infected, so now he wears the cone of shame. He keeps walking around with his head down and follows Clay and I very closely through the house not leaving our side. Side note: Look at that belly starting to pop out.lol

Some of the Places we are Staying

I am so excited about going to Ireland. We booked rooms for the beginning and the end of our trip, as well as one Castle.
