Happy Birthday Liam

Today we celebrated Liam's birthday.  Liam biggest request was to have a rocket ship cake. So that's what he got. I took Liam this morning to picked up balloons from the party store, which sent he over the moon, and when we got home everyone started rolling in with presents. Oh, so many presents.  He had such a wonderful day with family and friends, and so did we.

Beach Day

Thursday I took the boys to the beach, which was Brennan's first time ever. Bren loved both the water and the sand. Where as Liam spent the whole time digging, throwing sand, and destroying mommy's castles (since he is terrified of crashing waves).  We had a great time and the weather was awesome.

Zoo

On Tuesday I took the boys to the zoo since it was so nice out.  Here is Brennan watching the giraffes.
Liam watching the giraffes eating the hay out of the bucket.
The poor alligator that lost his arm during mating season.
Both jaguars were out! Usually you can't see either.
Liam petting the turtle. What a huge hit.
The poor armadillos were freezing, with it being 65 and all. lol There are four in this box all curled up to keep warm.

Ben's 3rd Birthday Party

Once again, Jen out did herself for Ben's Birthday. It was a superhero themed party; everyone dressed as their favorite superhero.  Jen setup a superhero training camp in her backyard with 5 stations for the kids.  When they completed the superhero camp they got a trophy and a certificate for completely the training camp. Here's Liam jumping over buildings with ease.

Look What I Can Do

Ummm Brennan has a new trick since this morning.  Remember this? Now watch this.

Weekly Update

The other day Liam got so excited that Daddy was pulling into the driveway that he jumped up on the couch. He proceeded to fall back down again, smack dab on the marble slab window sill, busting his nose. Instant purple line across the bridge of his nose and of course blood. Since he was bleeding he needed a band-aid, hence this goofy pic. Love it.
 The purple line.
Someone started saying ma ma ma ma.
I have climbers. Brennan climbed the suitcase to climb to the activity table.

Easter

For Easter, we went home of course.  We spent all day Saturday at the Gilmore's and all day Sunday at the McCormick's.  It was a great weekend filled with lots, and lots of candy and sweets.  Here is Liam, Daddy, and Papa playing track ball, among other things.
 Brennan playing outside too.
 Easter Blessing at Mass.
Liam must have dragged us outside 10 times to walk the canal and see the boats, crabs, and jellyfish.

Ugh, Mondays

I bet you can guess that my washing machine broke from the looks of this photo.  Just in time for me to not have any laundry done before going home.  I took the frame off while Clay was at work, that way he could just fix it when he got home. Which he did, thank goodness. We also fixed the Buick again, but only to realize other things are broken too. Oh, yeah, we also have a dead rat we can't find.
Trying to keep the kids entertained today was a feat. I pulled out my yoga mat and voila Baby Yoga. ~Downward facing Liam.
We also got an Aunt Norm box filled with books and these cool stacking Dr. Seuss blocks.
Clay and my new obsession.  The show is called Oddities on the Sci Channel. It's an obscure antique shop in New York.  This is an image from the show that I took. It's a stuffed rabbit with a gun shooting an other stuffed rabbit which he bought for his collection for some crazy price.  Not only is the stuff strange but the weirdos coming into the shop are the best!
