Poor Sick Little Boy

All day yesterday Liam was extremely fussy. I thought his teeth were bugging him until that evening I took his temp. It was 103.7, so I gave Liam some tylenol and called the on call dr. She told me that I could give him more tylenol then I had and call Lockhart's office in the morning. The on call dr had also sent Dr. Lockhart an email saying that I was the calmest 1st time mom she has ever talked to. And that she was pleasantly surprised that I was so polite and nice on the phone. She also told Dr. Lockhart that she wanted to steal me away from her. So Dr. Lockhart emailed her back saying you can't have her. lol

Liam has a virus with a crazy long name but is also known as hand-foot-mouth disease. This virus is very common in small children. Dr. Lockhart believes he has already reached the peak of his fever but to keep an eye on him. He didn't have any sores in his mouth which is really good and his temp was down to 99.9. Once his fever breaks for good, he'll most likely break out into a rash. Liam's ears looked great though and he now weighs 18lbs 11oz. His 9mth appt won't be until the 17th of Feb.

The Mad Man and His Walker

Liam may not be able to sit up on his own or even crawl, but he's a mad man in his walker. He is so quick now that he has figured how to turn it and get unstuck. Today Liam was chasing his red ball around for about an hour. He was so determined to get it. He and Jager also chase each other around the table, making Liam Jager's new best friend.

Pulling Up

This week Liam has started pulling himself up. He's trying to get his ball out but it's just out of his reach. Also Liam's got both of his top two teeth past week. There's been a lot of tears and no naps all week. Hopefully he won't get any more for a while. Or at least not two at the same time.

My Little Monkey

My little monkey or more like copy cat. Also thanks to Grandpa McCormick, Liam also fake coughs after Clay coughs, who has been sick all last week.

10 years

This week Clay and I have been together for ten years. Wow, a whole decade, that seems so crazy. Just think Mitchell wasn't even three yet when we started dating. And to think I would have never meet Clayton if Jimmy didn't drag him out to Cross Country practice in high school. Which is so ironic since Clay has asthma and is allergic to freshly cut grass.

Fireplace

This year for Christmas, Clayton got me a fireplace. We hung it up this week, which has been great with this cold front. It makes the house nice and toast and of course festive.

Bitter Biscuits gone bad. They are super super messy. Liam need a bath after each one he eats.
