Yesterday I was making breakfast for Clay and Liam. I pulled the bagel from the toaster oven and dropped it on the counter because it was so hot. Liam started cracking up, so of course I kept doing it to make Liam laugh and so Clay could get it on film. Who knew breakfast could be so funny.

Trip Home
Dad's 50th
For Dad's 50th Birthday all the kids came home, including Jimmy who just got back from Iraq. Dad is always wanting to go to an Irish pub but Mom hates the food so we never go. So that's where we went. We had a great time; food was good, live music and our waiter was hilarious.
Dad also kinda planned his own birthday party for Saturday. He thrives on the chaos, and believe me, when the whole family is there it is pure chaos. Here is my cousin Kara holding Liam who had a really bad cold and just wanted to go to bed.
Shannon's present to dad was the shred sled and boy was it a hit.

Thing of the Week
Liam has this new thing where he walks around the house with his eyes closed. It's really funny cause he starts off laughing and walking really fast then slows down and gets nervous to the point where he opens his eyes briefly then keeps going. I've also been trying really hard to get him to do his animal noise on film, but he just won't do it. He gotten really good at them. Our favorite is his cow.

Cauli-flower?
Last night we had pasta salad for dinner. Liam was sitting in my lap eating mine of course. I was feeding him and saying the veggies. I picked up a piece of broccoli and handed him the fork saying broccoli. He shoved it into his mouth. I then proceeded again with a carrot and a red pepper, both straight into the mouth. But then there was the cauliflower. I told him it was a cauliflower. He brought it up to his nose and took a huge sniff. After he was done sniffing the "flower" he ate it too. So we tried the cauliflower a second time not saying anything this time. Straight into his mouth. Then we had him try it again saying cauliflower. Once again he took a huge sniff. Kids are funny.
