First Day of School

 Brennan had a hard time leaving Liam at school. There were tears leaving the building.

Kid pick up. Brennan ran and sat next to the big kids until Mommy could sign Liam out.

 Lunch: PB&J with bell peppers and mango peach salsa with wheat thins.

Liam's new "school shirt". Since they wear uniforms, Liam can't wear his new shirts to school. But I made him change out of his uniform before lunch and let him pick one of his new ones.

Day of Firsts

 Saturday was a day of firsts in our house. We decided to go see Planes as a family.  It was Brennan's first time going to a movie and only Liam's second. Both boys did so well, I guess it helps when one of Brennan's favorite things is airplanes. Poor kid is gonna have a hard time waiting for it to come out on DVD.

 They are sooo excited. And look, we even got them popcorn.

 Since I still can't move my wrist, Liam had to go and get a haircut before school started. It was getting so long, it hasn't been cut since we shaved his head in Dec. The lady was shocked it was his first time in a hair salon.  The kid loved it. He even told us it was his favorite thing about his day. I think the balloon and the gummi bears helped.

Guess What Came in the Mail Today

We got Liam's teachers postcard today. He will officially have...drum roll...Mrs. Morgan! I can not believe only 8 more days till school starts and only 6 days to meet your teacher day. Crazy, where has this summer gone.

Go Big or Go Home

So who has/had one thumb, severe tendinitis in their elbow, an x-ray of their wrist, a steroid shot in the elbow, torn ligament in their wrist, a wrist brace for 3wks, and steroids and muscle relaxers to take? This girl!
