Memorial weekend

Oh man did we have a very full weekend. We first went to the famous Portland Rose Festival, then Sunday was strawberry and raspberry picking, followed by a cook out and pool day on Monday.

Camping

To be clear, this was the worst camping trip we have ever had in our almost ten years of camping as a family. But at least every one looks happy. Our scheduled "do over" is in June.

Newport Beach Day Two

The second half of our trip included the aquarium for Liam's birthday, sea food at the fish market, more sea lions, Devil's Punch Bowl, and exploring sea caves. My whole body aches just thinking about it again. What a great trip.

Newport Beach Day One

Last weekend we head out to Newport so we could take Liam to the aquarium for his birthday. We went to the lighthouse, check out the tidal pools, and even hunted down the famous Newport sea lions on the historic boardwalk.

.....Watch....Go

Here's is Mac being a silly and crazy little toddler. It was too cute not to post. I love how he says "watch" to make sure I'm paying attention before he dives of the wedge pillow.

Wooden Shoe Festival

You may or may not know that I love tulips. I mean LOVE them! So for my birthday, Clay and the boys took me to the tulip festival. It's 43 arces of tulips! We had so much fun walking around. There was a steam tractor, men carving wooden shoes, wine tasting, bounce houses, food, you name it, they had it. They even had a field that the boys could pick fresh flowers for my birthday. What a fun day :)

Hi Ho Hi Ho, into the city we go

On the last day Clay's parents were here we took the Max into the city. We did the tourist thing and showed them the landmarks. We took the air tram, bought books at Powell's books, had ice cream at Salt and Straw (strange flavors and crazy long lines), and the waterfront. Well, we thought it was their last day. Didn't plan on there being a blizzard in the Midwest.
