On Saturday, Liam and I went to see my friend Shannon in a surf contest. Last year she qualified to regionals and this year she's hoping she gets a sponsorship. The waves on Saturday were 12+ and the rip current was really strong. They even gave the surfer an extra 5 minutes to paddle out since the waves were so rough. Shannon did great and took second place. Next contect is in December.
