 I asked Liam if he could take the vacuum bag to the trash for me. Apparently that meant to dump it into the recycling and place the bag on the washer machine.

Entertaining Liam One Dollar at a Time

Tropical Storm Debby brought us a lot of rain, so I have been using a little creativity and a dollar or less to entertain the boys: mostly Liam.  These photos I used black trash bags to black out our bathroom window and gave the boys glow rings that I got at Target one spot.

Mini Baby Rave

 Another day I took old board books and cut out the center to hold chalk. Then painted the cover with black board paint and added velcro so the chalk won't fall out. I had to buy chalk at $.97

Made one for each of the boys. Great for our up coming trip.

Today, I filled Liam's bin with water, rocks, two lilly pads from our pond, and gave him a bag of frogs.

I bought the frogs at the dollar store.

Of course Liam had to line them up.

Even though there is a TS, we still went running.  I waited for a lull in the rain, threw the boys into their bathing suit, and prayed that it didn't pour.

The Cox Farm

 Today I took the boys to The Cox Farm in Melbourne.  We meet up with some of Liam's friends there for a playdate.  The boys love it. I just wish it wasn't so hot.  Here's Brennan feeding the chickens.

Week of Firsts

This week has been a big one for Brennan.  He finally cut his first tooth. We were convinced it was going to be his top right one, it has been sitting there for weeks, but at the last moment his bottom left one shot up. Don't worry, the top one showed up the very next day.  He looks so goofy having one of each on opposite sides, like he belongs in the Bayou or something. lol.  Also this week, I gave Brennan his first haircut.  My baby is growing so fast.

Better Late then Never...Memorial Day

This Memorial Day, the boys great grandparents came down from Illinois.  So of course we drove across the state to go visit them.  It was the first time they have had a chance to meet Brennan. We had lots of fun shopping, eating, and of course, seeing everyone.
